In late 2018 Gondwana Consulting was  engaged by Georges River Council to prepare a Plan of Management and Masterplan for Hurstville Oval and the adjacent Timothy Reserve.  The site supports a State level cricket oval and fringing velodrome and associated built facilities and a passive open space area.  Being in proximity to Hurstville CBD the site receives a very high level of visitor use and accommodates a number of sporting events throughout the year.

The project involves a review of a 2011 Draft Plan of Management that was not progressed to adoption by Council.  Hurstville Oval and Timothy Reserve encompasses both Crown Land and Community Land parcels.
