Gondwana Consulting has been retained by the City of Canada Bay Council to provide specialist advice and input, and assist Council in liaison with government agencies and Aboriginal organisations, in relation to:

• the assessment and appropriate management measures for a potential Aboriginal midden (being disturbed by an BMX circuit and Council landscape works) along the southern margin of Timbrell Park; and
• ensuring the known Aboriginal cultural heritage values of the foreshore at Cabarita Point/Park are recognised and addressed in the design and planning approvals for extensions to a commuter parking area at the Cabarita Ferry Wharf (as being proposed by the Roads and Maritime Services).
