This high profile project involves the preparation of a Construction Environmental Management Plan to provide a framework and direction for the mitigation of environmental impacts arising from proposed major works at the AFP facility at North Head. 

Construction and Operational Environmental Management Plan

Client:  Brewster Hjorth Architects and Australian Federal Police.

The proposed works include the demolition of the majority of existing buildings and the construction of a new facility to meet the changing needs of the AFP.  The site is bordered on three sides by Sydney Harbour National Park and contains habitat for several threatened species listed in the EPBC Act.  The Consruction Environmental Management Plan is a requirement of the approvals process, managed by the Comonwealth Department of Environment and Water.

An Operational Environmental Management Plan will be prepared once planning approval has been obtained.
